Speaking to Kotaku, Ross told the outlet that Take-Two has not clarified what it believes is in violation. ![]() It’s unclear if Take-Two is referencing everything involving GTA V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Mafia, or just specific projects. It’s Ross’ belief that his Patreon does not host the materials mentioned in Take-Two’s claim. He’s seeking confirmation from the publisher on what it wants to be removed and to “understand what materials specifically Take-Two believe to be in violation of their rights.” ![]() Ross says the company demanded he “remove all their copyrighted works” from Patreon and that he immediately asked Take-Two for clarification. Luke Ross, the creator behind those VR mods, posted a blog to his Patreon announcing Take-Two’s notice. After last year’s wave of notices, it seems the publisher is still on the hunt for fan creations and tools involving some of its biggest properties. A popular VR mod creator for games like Grand Theft Auto V, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Mafia says Take-Two Interactive has issued him a DMCA takedown notice through Patreon.
